Setting Up Kajabi’s Paywall (Made Easy!)

Getting your Paywall set up in Kajabi isn't just easy—it’s ridiculously easy! Here's how you do it:

Step 1: Choose or Create Your Product

• Log in to your Kajabi dashboard.
• Select or create the course or product you want to protect.
• Make sure you’ve clearly organized your content (modules, lessons, etc.).
• Goto Settings and scroll down to the Paywall section area. Toggle the Paywall on.

Step 2: Restrict the Good Stuff

• Kajabi will automatically create a Limited Access Product for you, after you switch on the Paywall feature. Note: you do not actually get 2 completely different products, Kajabi uses the same product, but just adds a paywall layer over the top of the modules you choose.

• Kajabi will also automatically create a Limited Access Offer, and you can change the name of this afterwards.
• Once you're back in the Outline area of your Course, you'll see the Paywall 'blue' line. You can drag this into the position you want it.
• Just remember, that the Paywall is used for MODULES, not lessons. So be sure to move it to below the Module (or Modules) that can be seen. Everything below that will be behind the paywall.

Step 3: Check your Offers

• There'll now be 2 Offers for this product. One for the limited access, and one for the paid component. You can choose to set the limited access offer to paid as well, ie maybe it's for the beginner part of the course, and the locked modules (ie behind the paywall) are for the advanced part of the course. The choice is yours as to how you set this up.
• Be sure to clearly set your pricing to match the value of your content.

Step 4: Make Your Paywall Message Pop

• Next up...  you can customize the default paywall pop up message to reflect your personality and the benefits of accessing your content.
• Clearly tell people why they absolutely need to unlock your content.

• Clearly explain what awesome things they get by paying. Or if both offers are paid, explain why the upgrade would be beneficial.
