Really good question — and one I built the answer into from day one. When you connect, Kajabi shows you its own permission screen and YOU approve exactly what the Lab may touch. The Lab only ever asks for the pieces its tools need: reading your pages and writing page designs. It can't see your contacts, your clients or their details — it never even asks for that permission, so Kajabi won't grant it. The checkout tools add offer and email permissions only if you switch them on. Your connection is encrypted, you can disconnect from inside Kajabi any time, and before the Lab changes a page it takes a snapshot — so there's always an undo.

No. A template is finished when you get it — nothing is held back for the Lab. They do different jobs. A template gives you the look: the whole design decided and built, ready to install. The Lab gives you the pieces and does the building — sections Kajabi doesn't include as standard, checkout designs, quizzes, whole pages built straight onto your site. So it isn't one or the other, and neither is the better version. Buy a template if you want the design handed to you, finished. Come to the Lab when you want a page to do something the standard Kajabi sections can't, or you'd rather it was built onto your site than handed to you as a file. Plenty of people end up with both — but you don't need both to start.

Your templates still work exactly as they always have — nothing changes there, and you don't need to re-buy anything. The Lab is the NEW way: instead of downloading a template and setting it up yourself, the Lab builds the finished thing straight into your site. My designs now live inside the Lab's rooms — Cha-Ching holds all my checkout designs, and The Runway will hold the sales pages. Website themes and product themes aren't in the Lab yet — those are still classic templates for now.

Everything your purchase includes keeps growing — new layouts and improvements land in your rooms every quarter at no extra charge, for now. Brand-new standalone tools may be their own purchase later. Founding members are the exception: founders get everything at no extra charge — that's the whole point of getting in early.

No — every dollar you've already paid counts toward the Full Glow-Up. You only ever pay the difference. So start where the itch is worst; nothing is wasted.

The Lab is built for the site you already have. It adds sections to pages you've already made, builds new pages alongside your existing ones, and styles the checkout for offers you already sell. Nothing gets thrown away and nothing needs rebuilding first. Membership sites: yes for all your pages, opt-ins, quizzes and checkouts. The inside of your course area (your product theme) isn't Lab-buildable yet — that's on the roadmap.

For your pages — yes. The Lab works with Kajabi's modern page framework, and that includes custom landing-page templates other designers have built on it, even when the theme has been renamed. Whole custom WEBSITE themes with a lot of custom code are the one place I can't make a blanket promise — I can't know what every designer has coded into their theme. What I can promise is that the Lab checks first and won't touch a page it can't safely build on. If you're not sure, try it on a test page first, or just ask me.

No — one purchase covers your whole Kajabi account. If you have more than one site on the same account (hello, Founder-plan friends), the Lab works across all of them at no extra cost.

There are, and they're clever. But they build you a whole new site somewhere else, and then you upload it over the top of what you've already got. The Lab works the other way round — it adds pieces to the site you already have, one at a time. And it does the wiring, not just the looks: the quiz that actually captures the answers, the checkout that actually takes the money, the emails that actually go out. And every design started life the slow, human way — made by me, tested on real Kajabi sites. The robots just carry them onto your page without dropping anything. 😉
